Catch-Up Premium

The Government has announced that £1 billion of funding has been made available for schools to support children and young people to catch up.  This includes a one-off universal £650 million catch-up premium for the 2020 to 2021 academic year to ensure that schools have the support they need to help all pupils make up for lost teaching time due to Covid-19.

Below you will find additional information which outlines our approach to how the money will be spent at Slade and our strategy for 2020/2021.  The impact of spending will be reviewed each term by school leaders and by Governors at the Curriculum Committee Meetings.

From 2021/2022, the Recovery Premium and School-led Tutoring funding will be included in our Pupil Premium Strategy.  Click here to find out more.
