School Newsletter: Friday 13 February 2026

In today's end-of-term bumper packed edition we reflect on some very important learning from this week.  Firstly, our Year 5 and 6 classes had over an hour in the company of Margaret Mizen from the Mizen Foundation as she spoke about Forgiveness, Peace and Hope as she told us the story of her son Jimmy.  Please read the story, visit Mizen Foundation – Forgiveness Peace & Hope and donate where you can.  Earlier in the week, the whole school joined together for Safer internet Day; we have links and guides for parents and carers to help keep children (and ourselves) safe online and we introduce our new Safeguarding Champions.  Elsewhere in Our News, we catch up with Ottilie who has been in Parliament, find out about gloopy fun at Yeti's, and find out why every child has a large tube of Smarties for the February break.  New for Term 4: Menu from Emma's Kitchen and the Forest School timetable.  Don't forget it is World Book Day on 5 March - we have all of the details.
