Safeguarding

At Slade, the health, safety and wellbeing of every child is our top priority.  As a school we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all our children and we expect all staff, volunteers and governors to share this commitment.  We ensure there are consistent and effective safeguarding procedures in place to support families, children and staff at school.

Our Safeguarding Team

At Slade we have a team of Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs) who are responsible for overseeing all safeguarding matters.  We also have a named governor, Sahar Shirazee, who is responsible for monitoring safeguarding at Slade.

We also have a team of Safeguarding Champions made up of Year 5 and 6 children.  Click here to read more about their role.
